This study aims to investigate the psychological mechanisms underlying work-family balance among single mothers, with a particular focus on their parenting practices. This study employs a qualitative method, utilizing case study techniques and thematic analysis, to analyze the data from four single mothers aged 25 to 60 years old. We obtained the data by conducting comprehensive interviews that included open-ended questions regarding factual information, events, activities, and opinions. Additionally, we observed the interaction process and activities using non-participatory observation of single moms with their children to enhance the quality of the data.
